The NWLSRA is always looking for individuals interested in becoming soccer referees.  To become a registered soccer referee an individual must attend a referee clinic in its entirety and pass the written exam. The minimum age to attend a referee clinic is 12 years of age.  The clinics are normally offered each fall and spring.

This course consists of 16 hours of training which includes class room instruction, field training and exam (must score 80% or better). Attendance for the entire 16 hours is required. Successful completion of the Grade 8 course will allow you to officiate all youth games (recreational and competitive).

The cost for the clinic is $95 which is comprised of $45.00 for training material and a rule book plus $40.00 for the year's registration with USSF. The other $10.00 is for lunch which will be brought in both days. There is a minimum of 8 required to hold the course.
